Lenticular Clouds In Broome
April 05, 2012
I just love Lenticular Clouds. They often occur in Broome, Western Australia on top of rising Cumulo Nimbus Clouds that boil upwards in the wet Season. This one appeared late yesterday afternoon as the sinking sun gave it a golden colour.
Cyclone Lua Brings Waves To Cable Beach
March 29, 2012
When Tropical Cyclones pass the Kimberley Coast or even if they are off the Pilbara Coast, the swell reaches cable Beach in Broome and the locals that love a wave drop everything and head for the beach. This year I have the pleasure to have a 800mm Canon lense to capture the action. The light is fantastic and the colours of the background sky enhances the spray thrown into the air as the boards cut the turquoise waters of Cable Beach.
